Poetry

Throughout the latter part of my youth and much of my adult life, I have found it necessary to periodically invest time into certain creative endeavors. One such endeavor involves what some have famously referred to as the perpetually unfinished art: poetry. My poetry has transformed over the years from generally rather light and cheery toward the darker aspect of the art. Starting roughly from 2002 and later, my work began to consider in gruesome detail the more sinister activities of man.

Here you will find a mostly complete collection of my poetic work, ranging from the oldest to the newest. This list is by no means exhaustive, as there are at least as many published here that remain unfinished and half as many that are finished but have never before been seen by eyes other than my own. I intend to post all of them someday relatively soon, in addition to a few other works. I also intend to post any recent installments as I write them.

A word of warning: My previous sites have generally included some or all of my older poetic work (with a few exceptions). The quality of this work is certainly not the best, and I agree that they could be improved. However, I am also something of an archivist; older works, no matter what imperfections may mar their appearance, have their place in the world. Thus, I have elected instead to include everything possible for the sake of completeness. I feel that my older works have contributed to what I am today, my writing style, and have served as an outlet for my consciousness. To neglect my own imperfect works would be naive and terribly ignorant; it is important to maintain keen awareness of where we each have come from and what has contributed to our own development in order to understand more thoroughly who we are.
